Reviews:

"I've been to Bimini a number of times and was really impressed with your book. It was thorough and just plain fun to read...It's about time someone did a guide for Bimini."

Then scroll down and click on "Bahamas" and then click on the link for North Bimini (Bimini) or Cat Cay.

Restaurant Updates

3) Dinner with Antoinette and Basil

Due to health problems, Antoinette is no longer offering dinner for visiting boaters.

4) Coritz Deli

On out last trip we had a couple of nice meals at Cortiz Deli in Bailey Town. Run by Orinthia, a very nice local lady, the Deli serves lunch and dinner (and breakfast depending on the season). The food was reasonably priced and the decor, while nothing fancy, is commendably clean and cheery. A nice simple place to grab a meal in Bailey Town. FYI, the restaurant is on the Walking Map but the sign on the door is sometimes hard to spot so look closely.

Gun Cay lighthouse south of Bimini. At one point the island housed a DEA field station - the station was was later knocked out by Hurricane Hugo.

Did you know?

Presidential candidate Gary Hart Gary was busted in Bimini with Donna Rice, effectively ending his campaign. They traveled over on the yacht Monkey Business

A local joke is that he slept on the boat and she slept on his dinghy.
